NVIDIA’s next generation of graphics cards, under the “Blackwell-Next” name, began their integration into the Linux kernel some time ago. The latest set of patches now includes updates for handling Compute Express Link (CXL). This particular patch is intriguing because it refers to the next generation of NVIDIA GPUs with the “Blackwell-Next” architecture, even though NVIDIA has publicly confirmed the codenames for its upcoming GPU architectures multiple times. Firefox 152 included several breaking changes to internal APIs and behavior. Without sufficient verification, we proceeded with the release, resulting in extension compatibility issues, UI rendering problems, and stability concerns. We should have acted promptly to roll back upstream changes, but our response was delayed. Based on this experience, we will strengthen our verification process and establish a faster response framework for handling breaking upstream changes. ⭐️ New Features Command Palette gets even more powerful The Command Palette introduced in v12.14.0 gains major search and action improvements in v12.15.0. Press F2 (default) to open the palette and type a keyword to jump to any action. Improved Japanese search with Budoux morphological analysis support. Multi-step wizard commands Complex actions that require multiple inputs are now guided step by step: Open URL — Enter a URL and choose where to open it (new tab, current tab, new window, etc.). Search Web — Pick a search engine, then enter your query. Reopen in Container — Select from your registered containers to reopen the current tab. The wizard walks you through URL entry and destination selection. New switchers Quickly jump to history entries, bookmarks, open tabs, recently closed tabs, and recently closed windows — all from the palette. History and bookmark results support async search with pagination (load more). Switch between open tabs or recently closed tabs from a single list.
