pssthey you, with the eyes 👀stop being stubborn and increase your computer's default font size. magnify that web page you're reading a bit maybe try a different display font, most things default to sans fonts these days but I personally find serifs much easier to read, especially at, ahem, bigger font sizes also, if light mode hurts your eyes, there's a significant chance the problem is that you bought a new monitor that gets 10x brighter than your old monitor and you turned it up to 100% brightness out of habit

No matter how much this hurts, it's important to recognize that people absolutely do not want to and will not do the reading. You've got to meet them where they are. I don't mean the centrist crap of trying to pivot to the right. I mean people who support what you support, who want what you want, but who have no framework for it.In other words, praxis, fuckos. It's all about praxis. Theory is lovely and no one gives a tinplated fuck about it.You can maintain ideological purity and still be all about praxis. In fact, it's easy. You just have to get people on board with being excellent to each other. How hard is that? Turns out, pretty hard, but that's not because no one does the reading.It also means you've got to simplify shit down to, "Be excellent to each other." We need a Joe Rogan of the good guys (I'm not saying "left" because I've got plenty of issues with leftists too in the "being excellent to each other" department) not to be a dipshit hypermasculine fuckstain with "better politics," but to meet people where they are and tell them what they need to hear to get shit done.Lots of people want to be the good guys. They're right there. Instead of telling them they can't be the good guys because they haven't done the reading, we need to harness them. Can't get there instantly. Got to have those allies right now because they currently want the same thing we do.All those little old ladies in pussy hats? They want to be the good guys. All those people showing up for meaningless protests? Want to be good guys. All those Democratic voters? Yeah, want to be good guys.Let's give them a way. I don't do community organizing because I fucking hate people most of the time, but if you don't, you need to give people a way to help you. Figure out some way they can support you. Money, or time, or hell, community organization. Whatever. Don't make them figure out what they believe. Just let them be one of the good guys.Fuck all the people diverting effort into meaningless grift. But learn from them. They'd have no grift if people didn't want to support something.
