In 2024, France counted 13,335 millionaires who paid ZERO income tax.This is yet another example of why we need a UN Tax Convention to fix global tax rules and finally make the super-rich pay their fair share, so there is real money for public services, climate action, and a green transition, instead of more loopholes for extreme wealth.

"Vibe-anything" is essentially the mediocre white man's dream: Decide that you deserve to be recognized as good at something without having to put in the work, while profiting off the labor of others whose actual work now has to compete with your unethical output. Furthermore, feel great because you are a visionary! Meritocracy has once again worked to put you in the vanguard. (I am saying this with a lot of love for my fellow mediocre white men. We will not be liberated without feminism.)

@zkat Back in the early days, they were true software engineers. Consider fiting an operating system and multiple processes in 8 megabytes of RAM. Consider the people who wrote the software for Apollo missions. Consider the people who wrote fault tolerant software for mission critical apps and the operating system below them.
