@webhat @selzero I'm mostly discussing the alt text culture here, it looks more virtue signaling over actual helping people.Like, if you take the HTML specification, it says: "The most general rule to consider when writing alternative text is the following: the intent is that replacing every image with the text of its alt attribute does not change the meaning of the page."Adding an accurate description of who is talking in the video ALONE doesn't work for that. A transcript would be more useful for that. I say the visual description of who's talking is mostly irrelevant, but that's subjective.

Meta has been blocking human rights accounts from reaching audiences in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
