Watching a UX talked from Stanford in which, to combat AI, they are suggesting that they delay paying participants in research until they know for sure that they aren't using AIFirstly, they are doing UX wrong by their own metrics. If the user is using external AI: That is the User Experience! It's hard for these UX researchers to realise that they are embedded AI is to their UX and then punish their participants when they are using their own AI. When they bring out whatever design they are creating they will have the gap with reality that people are using their own AISecondly: Fuck you, pay me! If you are paying participants to do work, pay themLastly, they are referring back to an example of job interviews, where people don't know the job they are interviewing for and are using an LLM live during the interview to get the answers to the interviewer's question. Doesn't this just suggest what we already know, interviews are broken‽
