I don't know anything about UK employment law but I don't really understand why the resistance to a maximum legal working temperature seems to be based on saying this would be impossible because there are jobs where people have to work with ovens or blast furnaces. We have a legal minimum working temperature but are still allowed to work in cold rooms and walk in freezers if it's time limited and sufficient protection is put in place - we have one at my work for seed storage, and people work in food storage warehouses. Does anyone know if there is actually a practical difference or is it just right wing scaremongering?

@aral Some people claim to be for oppressed minorities and different, highly, highly marginalized people. When they come into contact with REAL people who are lethally, deliberately oppressed… deprived of essentials and illegally sanctioned and marginalized… REAL PEOPLE living in proverbial open air coffins without privacy, whether it’s due to the beta testing of big tech surveillance tools that will later be imported to their Western allies or literally due to living in tents…Those people suddenly have an issue with that and find bazillions of excuses to exclude REAL, REAL suffering HUMAN beings.The hypocrisy and double standards are bottomless, and it makes you think, and it makes one angry and SICK…tl;dr some people should really seize the chance to help marginalized people, or stop their endeavours of sabotage…And if those people don't like my stance they can go… or I can go too… 🤷What do we have Women ✅ Babies ✅ Children ✅ Very old people ✅ disabled ✅ shellshoked ✅ …
