Reading that a bus driver was attacked in Rotterdam in an overflowing bus, which is awful, one shouldn't attack a bus driver. And the first thing that always pops into my mind when I heard about incidents like this is: What sent the attacker over the edge? Was it like I recently experienced that a man was shouted at by a driver for entering the bus with an open container and when the man went to throw it away the bus drove offOr maybe it was like the woman who was helping someone get a buggy into the bus, and the bus driver closed the door on them multiple times and started shouting at the woman that that wasn't an entrance, although it's clearly an entrance for people with buggiesOr like the man standing drenched in the pouring rain whose card wasn't accepted by the machine and didn't have a different way to pay the fare and was told to get off the busPerhaps it like the man who got into the bus and was shouted at by the driver that they weren't allowed to enter the bus as the doors were closing, and was forced, by transport police, to get off at the next stopIt could have been like the people who were told that they were entering by the wrong door and to walk to the front, and when they did the driver closed the doors and drove offAnd, maybe it was just completely random…

American consumers deserve the assurance that the devices they use, whether routers or other connected smart home devices, are built to withstand attacks that put themselves and others at risk, no matter where they are manufactured. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2026/04/banning-new-foreign-routers-mistargets-products-fix-real-problem

“Discord is in the business of making money by selling their users’ personal data,” EFF's Samantha Baldwin told @arstechnica. “They are implementing ‘age verification’ to meet regulatory compliance and to collect more data about their customers, not protect children.” https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2026/04/dad-stuck-in-support-nightmare-after-teen-lied-about-age-on-discord/

When i see videos of former US Generals saying that what members of the current US administration are doing are war crimes. And that service members should wonder what war crimes they might be involved inI always wonder which war crimes these Generals were involved in covering up, because, honestly, we all know service members under their command commited war crimes, which they had swept under the rugThis is a subtoot
