i was quite surprised to discover that no one had registered deleteduser [dot] com, and was curious to see how many emails i'd get if i registered it, assuming many orgs 'delete' logic probably just overwrote the email address with blahblah@deleteduser.com or similar.The answer, is at least 3 different orgs in the hour that I've owned that domain and been listening for email.And yes, all of those emails contain the actual PII of the person who has been 'deleted' :-D #infosec

Anyone hiring?My work told me they will not be giving me a job after my apprenticeship (as a Developer) ends in the summer. Oh, oops!You may remember I said that one of the bugs in a 'Claude code audit' of one of my open-source projects was a real bug?It turns out it was one that someone had noticed and raised a PR with a partial fix for in 2024, so almost certainly *in their training corpus. So, embarrassing that I didn't merge the PR. Ooops. I am a terrible maintainer.But the one bug that looked important enough to prioritise fixing was one that had been publicly disclosed two years ago.
